Lubaina Himid has been named Artist of the Year by international art journal Apollo Magazine at their glittering awards ceremony in London on Tuesday 21st November. Other shortlisted artists included David Hockney, Frank Bowling, Jasper Johns, Carolee Schneemann and Adrian Villar Rojas.
